The Master, Past Masters Baroness Garden, Mark Hardy and Peter Alvey, and Honorary Freeman Paul Benbow were guests at a recent dinner hosted at the RAF Club. The dinner was in order to celebrate the 81st Anniversary of the founding of our affiliated Air Cadet Squadron No 1475 (Dulwich formerly Lewisham) of which Baroness Garden is Patron.

During the course of a splendid evening of good food, fine wines and entertainment, the Master presented the Air Marshall’s cup, together with the World Traders’ award of a pen and certificate to Cadet Sergeant Finlay Bremner ATC, the winner of the competition for the best essay on leadership.

I’m not quite sure what the young cadets made of a black tie dinner with representatives of the City together with RAF veterans and ATC volunteers, but they did seem to enjoy themselves!
