I was delighted to be able to look forward to participating in the 18th Inter-Livery Pancake Day, organised by the Worshipful Company of Poulters this Shrove Tuesday, 1st March.
This ever-popular annual event sees 30 teams take part in Guildhall Yard with additional participants joining the Master’s Qualifying Race.
Sadly the inclement weather meant that the event was cancelled this year but I don’t believe this removes my claim to be unbeaten (rather like the eggs in this year’s pancakes!) I look forward to seeing Michael Shapiro, our Senior Warden, represent the World Traders in 2023.
