The World Traders’ 36th Annual Tacitus Lecture, Populism, Poverty and Hope in the 21st Century, was given by Rory Stewart OBE, academic, diplomat, writer and former Member of Parliament on Wednesday, 17 May 2023.
Once again taking place at the historic Guildhall, Master Michael Shapiro introduced this year’s Lecture, thanking our sponsors, members and guests before handing over to the Lord Mayor, Nicholas Lyons, who shared his own insights on the evening’s theme.
