The Greycoat Hospital School’s team, consisting of Phoebe Okai, Ruby Ager, Nafeesah Kamal, Modupeoluwa ‘Dupe’ Adeniran, Giulia DeVivo, and Privetta Rachel, delivered an outstanding performance at the recent Sheriff’s Challenge, clinching a close second!
Addressing the topic of “Should the City of London do more to improve learning and career opportunities for those from less privileged backgrounds?”, the students embraced a creative approach by staging a simulated debate.
Drawing inspiration from the inclusive online debate style popularised by Jubilee Media, they skillfully portrayed key stakeholders in the City of London, offering diverse perspectives from municipality, youth, and private sector to deliver their arguments advocating for increased efforts by the City.
