Tuesday evening saw over 50 World Traders, Clerks and Beadles join together to wish Gaye well in her retirement. After 16 years in the Livery, the Master, Lars Andersen, thought Gaye may not have been presented with enough spoons by Lord Mayors, that he added his own, slightly less valuable wooden spoon to the collection. Gaye was also presented with a bunch of flowers and an engraved pewter photo frame awaiting a photograph of her soon-to-be-born first grandchildren. Thank you Gaye for all you have done for the World Traders and the greater Livery world. We wish you all the best in your retirement and look forward to seeing you at future events as an Honorary Liveryman.
