To celebrate the International Women’s Day, in collaboration with Goodenough College, the Worshipful Company of World Traders organised a thought-provoking event on the theme ‘Inspire Inclusion,’ which took place in Goodenough College’s Great Hall yesterday.

We were honoured to have the Deputy High Commissioner of Australia Elisabeth Bowes as our keynote speaker. Elisabeth discussed the role of women in international trade and the broader impact this has on global trade.

Elisabeth’s engaging talk was followed by an insightful panel discussion featuring prominent individuals within the international trade field. Their vital and thought-provoking discussion explored the topic of ‘Rights, Equality and Empowerment through International Trade’, among other important subjects.

The stimulating discussions continued during the networking reception with drinks and canapés.
