The first World Traders Award for Maritime Excellence was presented by The Master Elect, Andrew Marsden MStJ, at the Annual General Meeting of the Chiswick Sea Cadets on 14 October 2026.

The worthy winner was Able Cadet Annabel McDonough Collier and the award is in recognition of her outstanding year of achievement, commitment and leadership on the water.

Although the World Traders has had a long association with the Chiswick Sea Cadets – of over 20 years, this is the very first award to an individual. An interesting note is that the prize of £250 will go towards an activity or event (chosen by Annabel) that will benefit the whole unit.
