Ms Liz Garner

Liz Garner was installed as Clerk on Thursday 5th December 2024.

Liz started her career working as a QA Chemist for Procter & Gamble in Newcastle.  She moved into various HR roles within P&G before transferring to the Head Office in Weybridge.  She then joined her family run Dental practice in Fareham doing the finance and payroll side of the business, balancing this with raising 3 children.  On selling the Dental Practice, she took a temporary role as a Firearms Licensing Officer in Hampshire Constabulary and has now joined the Worshipful Company of World Traders.

Liz was Master of the Worshipful Company of Poulters in 2022-23, the first female Master in the Company coming from a long line of Poulters, 22 members of the family have been/are Freemen and Liverymen.  She is 5^th generation to be elected to the Court and the 10^th Master within her family.

In her spare time she has been actively involved in the PTA, she enjoys Pilates, camping and smallbore rifle shooting and was responsible for organising the Inter-Livery Pancake races for 4 years.
