One of the final events of each Master’s year is the Master’s at Home. Typically, this event will reflect the character and interests of the Master.

Our current Master, Robert Woodthorpe-Browne, a keen Liberal Democrat, chose to host his Master’s at Home event at The National Liberal Club in Whitehall. The club is housed in an incredible building which hosts Gladstone’s infamous bag and other artifacts.

The event was well attended by World Traders and their guests, including this year’s Tacitus speaker, Sir Simon Fraser.

The Master presented his gift to the company: two goblets designed by a young silversmith and design maker, Abigail Marsh. The work was commissioned by the Master on the recommendation of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
