On a lovely autumn evening, Master Mary Hardy welcomed more than 50 Members to HMS President at St. Katherine Docks for drinks and supper.
Herself an Honorary Captain, this event was the last official one in Mary’s year as Master. It brought together the many achievements of the Master and the Company over the past 12 months, visually highlighted in a delightful surprise video commemoration.
Guests included representatives from National Numeracy and Olly’s Future, two charities supported by the Charitable Trust via the Master’s Discretionary Fund (a third charity supported by the Discretionary Fund, the Woodland Trust was unable to attend). Commander Greg Young VR RNR, HMS President was also in attendance, and last but not least our Chaplain The Rev’d Katherine Hedderly.
A very fine time was had by all. Thank you, Master!
